These stats feed the false concept that QBs should be credited for victories and blamed for losses. We didn't beat New Orleans because of our QB, and we didn't lose to Green Bay in the playoffs last year because of our QB. Wins is a meaningless statistic without context.

Think about this tweet. And then think about all the complaining that’s gone on about this HC and this QB during that same period. How in the world can any of you justify that much overreaction about the direction and relative success of a program with a straight face? It’s one thing if it’s just not good enough because of the lack of postseason success. But we’re talking about fans who actually believe we’ve got the worst HC and/or the worst QB in the entire league. And somehow I’ve managed to miss most of the “my bad” posts.

It’s peculiar for a coach to have so much success in the regular season and so little in the postseason. Hopefully, it evens out his postseason.
