You quit 2.5 years ago, but for some reason you are still around…..And some like our buddy from the mountains, promises one thing, then doesn’t own up to it.
We need an analytics department just to figure out Shanahan tree offenses. For the glass half full Cowboy fans, which is the healthier way to be.
Dallas was chosen as the clear runaway most-improved franchise here over the past two years. The Cowboys have made substantial staffing changes since last summer, when they hired John Park as their director of strategic football operations from the Colts. They’ve since added four more full-time employees to their analytics group in addition to Kathy Evans — a former VP at Monumental Sports (Washington Wizards and Mystics) and a big name in sports analytics — and a pair of strategic football fellows.
“The growth of their team,” an AFC staffer said on why they picked the Cowboys as the most improved. “It’s Dallas, they have more resources than anybody. It’s been cool to see that department grow.”

Analytics are good, this team is dumb to know what that is, or means.Hiring more analytics staff is a good thing. So, in that end. I am happy they’ve expanded that aspect of the front office.
I still want to see the improvements on the field though.
Yes, it can.Analytics makes you stronger, run faster and hit harder.
Why is everyone crapping on this? I don’t get it. I thought it was great when they first started using analytics recently. What does analytics say about using one of our 2 timeouts that we can't take with us to the 2nd half to avoid a delay of game penalty in the final seconds of the first half? You know, so that the 66 yard FG counts.
It's a good tool to use. I think people over value its use.Why is everyone crapping on this? I don’t get it. I thought it was great when they first started using analytics recently.
Well, I don’t know how you tell who’s over valuing it or not but it certainly has its place. The more information you have, they best chance you have of staying alive. It's a good tool to use. I think people over value its use.
