It was a stupid play call up by 14 with 40 seconds left and 1 timeout. Should have just taken a knee. Not a good throw by Dak, but Ceedee made no effort on that ball and watched the defender catch it.

How so? Many times a quarterback releases the pass before the receiver even runs his route. That was entirely on Lamb. Receivers can make your quarterback look either good or bad.
