I am convinced of two things.....our passing game will be non existent....and even if we do manage to keep it close, the league will NOT let us walk away with a win....that is just how much I am suspect of their crookedness.

the seahawks never punted ,our D is not consistent.
Nobody knows our defensive coach better than the man that developed him, Carroll. You can pick a game on every team’s schedule. Baltimore has the best defense in the league and the Rams lit them up last week.

Don't have a good vibe on this game. Playing on the road in weather, on turf, can't run the football or stop the run.

The winds should not be too bad; will affect the kicker probably more than anyone else
of course cold and wet ball is the real factor

The only time the defense has looked bad is when we play coaches that are familiar with Dan Quinn and the week after Diggs went down. The other three top defenses in the league Cleveland, San Francisco, and the Jets have been lit up at times this season as well. The defense and offense our top 5 in every metric. We are either the best or second best team in the league at the moment. We pass the eye and computer test.
Did you have your own opinion I have mine my eye says I seen them go six straight games giving up a score on the first drive of every game I've seen them give up a ton of scores right out of halftime it isn't just teams that know Dan Quinn... I'm telling you they're rod marinelli's type defense where they bend the lot they're being moved on and then they get a turnover yes I know it's in our DNA to get turnovers but I am not seeing the team that gets a moniker they are not doomsday they are not the legion of boom even but they for sure not the 86 bears or the 2000 Ravens these teams locked you down and it was obvious if your offense can score 14 points you win that game every single time you didn't need to have a offense that has to score close to 30+ points a game to win..

they were ran over by the AZ team sorry it's more of an issue than you think the teams we might see are gonna be the 49ers the Eagles or another team that can score like Detroit they're very much built like Seattle and we saw what Seattle did and I know we were on a long schedule I'm just telling you this defense is not as consistent as you might think in your mind because I'm watching these games with an open mind and it's great when they're getting all these pick sixes and fumble recoveries but when we're not they're giving up long drives... I've seen them so many times get third downs and 4th downs to convert it on them too many times they're getting chunk plays yes we have a very good defense when you put it all together with the turnovers and the sacks and all that stuff but they have yet to show me they can literally shut a team down from the beginning of the game to the end and our offense could literally run all game and win a low scoring game against a good team...

So yes as a whole with everything put together with the metrics they're very good defense but when you look at it with an open mind and you watch every snap of every game which I do and I think most people in here dude you're overrating this defense they're more susceptible than you think if they don't get a turnover our offense has to score a lot because the time of possession gets eaten up by the other team's offense is ability to move this ball on our defense...

I'm not saying they suck we are still one of the top defense but we are not one of those transcendent generational defenses that get a moniker and a T-shirt the 49ers are closer to that... Look I'm not trying to be negative I'm just trying to keep an open mind and a dialogue to say look out this defense has not been that good you're asking the Cowboys offense and dak Prescott to be the scapegoat because they're going to be lots of games where he's goanna have to do like he did in Seattle and you can't expect that in the playoffs...

Especially if we end up playing on the road all playoffs that is going to be tough and I've yet to see it and I'm hoping I'm wrong trust me... But I see more rod marinelli in this year's defense, bend bend bend but get that TO and not break many times, than I see any of the doomsday defenses or lockdown top ten defenses of all time,

we are not that IMHO. This is the main reason Mike McCartney had to go from being conservative his entire offseason was spent building a low risk offense that didn't work because he knew he knew after a lot of those games that the defense were getting walked down that we were going to need more offense and he flipped the switch on the offense and thank God for Prescott coming through and our offense being able to pick the defense up when it's not on you know like last year they blew the two road games against Green Bay and Jacksonville when Prescott this office handed them a 17 and 14 point fourth quarter lead this is what our defense is we will lose those games that we don't get the late T/O to stop a cortical drive against a playoff caliber team on the road...

Look, we're about to find out today and then against Miami and against Detroit thank God the Detroit game is at home but I hope the distraction of the Ring of Honor halftime show doesn't show i could bite them in the butt it could be our only home loss of the year...

Look I hope I'm wrong but I don't have that same confidence that you do in our defense... But as a whole yes our team I have total confidence in but it's gonna take all of them to win it all and I have not yet to see that well you know how many years...

Your Ravens don't scare me.

KJJ---may i ask...do you ever get a bit nervous before a game?
Back during the 70s, 80s and 90s when the Cowboys had some great teams I used to get very nervous before games. I would get so nervous before games my butterflies had butterflies. That all ended in the early 2000s. The lean years and not winning a playoff game in 13 years took its toll and I lost faith in the organization, especially after the loss to the Giants in the 2007 playoffs. I haven’t felt nervousness in the pit of my stomach prior to a Cowboys game since then. That will probably change if we ever reach the NFC title game again. Having a real shot to reach another Super Bowl would get me nervous.

Jay Glazier just reported it’s been a rough week for the Cowboys with a stomach bug that’s affected around 10 players and coaches. He said it threw them off their practice schedule. Not a good sign heading into this game.

Early in 1992 I was headed to Dallas for a game. Our connecting flight from Houston was canceled and instead of waiting we decided to drive.

Along the way was a town called Buffalo, guessing about 80-90 miles before Dallas.

The sign on the interstate that showed the remaining mileage to each place read something like…

Dallas 96
Buffalo 12

I say to my buddy….”that’s the scoreboard for next years Super Bowl.”

I wasn’t very far off.

]0 I personally despise games in bad weather. I want the teams on the field being the only thing that decides games. Weather absolutely matters. Causes fumbles, bad passes, drops........
If weather is a part of the game and teams should just be able to deal with the elements, why do you think the SBs are mostly held in domes, Florida and Ca?

It is what it is, but all those that get a warm cuddly feeling inside when they see clips from the ice bowl ...... ugh

You think this guy will be at the game?

This is what makes the NFL so damn great. This guy probably worked in a bank wearing a suit and tie and here he is out looking like a total fool..... because he loves football.

Going to be a tough fought game with the weather. It affects both teams. Just because Buffalo plays home games there does not mean they are used to it anymore than Dallas.

I don't think they really had a bad weather game there yet.

Really hope I’m wrong but I don’t like this matchup in this situation for us.

I think Allen brings his A game, and so does the crowd.

This is really a tough spot for us. We are way better IMO, but that doesn’t always translate to the scoreboard.

The good news is that I continue to be wrong at a fairly consistent clip.

Going to continue what I have been doing every game since this win streak started. I want a relaxing game day. Want to be stress free in the 4th quarter. Turn the lights out early Cowboys!!! Send the so-called Buffalo Mafia home early. Early and depressed.. Go Cowboys!!!!!

Exposed the next two weeks then cheat and beat the Lions and Skins before getting snot pounded by the Bucs in the wild card round.
The EaGirls don't play Lions and Skins the last two weeks of the season. :muttley:
