The league needs to expand the roster and it needs to allow teams to have more players available on game day. There's no reason why every team can't always be carrying a 3rd QB who can learn the system on the bench and know what he's doing when he finally gets into the game.

Aside from all of the other mistakes, the game was over when we went for it on 4th with a chance to get within one point, it was a long yard with an obvious playcall. Bad decision to not get the points there IMO. At worst, they get a TD to anwser and we are only down 8 near the end.

Games like this make me wonder if our offense is too complicated for backups to run. Romo drives us all crazy taking the clock down to :01 with all of the changes, but I'm starting to think they're essential to the success.
A lot of people's foolishness was exposed, who thought that we have some kind of smashmouth offense that could win all day long with a bus driver quarterback. A huge part of our running success has been that we run into favorable looks and the defense is always scared that if you pay too much attention to it you will get burned by #88, #82 or others. Take that away and it's not nearly that easy.
