Anybody who thinks that Arizona should have kicked a field goal at the end of the game doesn't understand the probabilities. So...you're going to kick a field goal when you have the ball inside the 10 and expect yourself to get an onside kick...drive roughly 50 yards and score a TD? Scoring 3 points quickly doesn't accomplish anything.

You wouldn't have kicked it on 4th down? I would have.

Good answer by the team. Was a real struggle in first half but we finally opened offense up some and was successful. Big bounce back win.

Finally we got some real playcalling.

As I said last week...this is not a shotgun, dink-n-dunk offense. It failed miserably when they tried to go shotgun dink-n-dunk with Romo and it was failing badly with Dak going shotgun, dink-n-dunk.

They stuck with the run enough to allow it to set up bootlegs and have enough blockers for the occasional deep pass pattern...then mixed in some more runs which were not easier to set up with the balance of the offense and then occasionally go with some shotgun, dink-n-dunk plays on 2nd down. The offense was miserable in the first quarter, but we didn't give up on what our offense does well and the patience paid off. That's why you stick with the run as long as you're not losing by too much.
