The fact they can't force a single incompletion makes me wonder if there isn't something fundamentally wrong with how they run their defense.

I agree.

Having said that, this is exactly what the defense looked like last year. It is odd because it doesn't matter who they are playing against. When it's scrubs against scrubs, like it is now, you would expect it to be a little more even than this.

At the officials' meeting, they said to make a point of emphasis on calling more defensive holding. In other words, how they typically call a Cowboys game.

My replys were to comments referencing how both backs looked today. From what I've seen today, Randall has looked better to my eyes tonight.

Overall, I like what I've seen what little i've seen from Williams based. He needs to stay healthy, obviously. I like both backs in a backup role. But, what i've read on training camp was that Randall has looked really good as of late in camp and he is a better blocker.

Randall still looks stiff. He isn't a good rb. Not fluid runs upright, no wiggle, and little vision. Williams in his limited opportunities has looked good. Complete opposite of Randall IMO.
