Calm it my friend. We're rooting for the same team. Not dogging Fasano by any means. He's been quite impressive in the first half. Brad underthrew but it was highly catchable. I guess I just wanted to see a positive drive before the half. I think Fasano is coming on nicely.
ahhh football season is officially here

Barber is a power back, he needs carries to get into a rythm

so does Julius

Couldn't agree with you more....really mad me mad yesterday when they were showing the Cowboys 2006 season on ESPN and they were going game by game and they showed JJ take off for that long TD run in our first possession, only to give him the ball like 9 more times. Frickin' BP! Argh!:bang2:

I like the long sustained drives. I can live with Romo not forcing anything and taking what was given. A TD would have been nice but I like the two long drives. JJ looked pretty crisp out there. It's very early but I sense an excitement about this team.

I also loved how when the QB came to talk on the sidelines it was Garrett who was doing all the talking. That reminded me of the days of Jimmy as well.

i would like to see ware learn some more pass rushing moves, he still tries to speed rush the outside too much.

it worked a few times but a good tackle is gonna play you outside and take that away.

Barber and jones looked ok to me barber is wiggling too much after the catch which is actually slowing him down off the catch.

but is making some nice move on the ground against the defenders.

and its not the situation which he should be judged by . making people look silly and running people over is what it is.

it doesnt matter if its 3rd and long or 3 and 1 he ran hard and looked pretty good.

jones made some nice cutbacks for what the line gave him to but just seems to have more burst after the catch then barber to me

ummm...Julius looked better than Marion, by far. Marion got some yards late in the second half against the second string but until that he was struggling. Marion has only a little wiggle--he looks for the big hit. I say, it ain't broke--don't fix it. Anyone who uses this game to say Marion better than JJ is ridiculous. When JJ was out there, he looked better

You must have been watching a different game than I was, I saw JJ make two decent runs and both times he went down on first contact...Not so much as a juke.

What I found to be a pleasant surprise was the fact that very few penalties were committed by our team in the 1st half. Almost shocking when considering that it's the 1st preseason game to start us off.

I was also glad to see that the heat didn't have any affect on the Cowboys even though the media was making a big deal about how our team wasn't acclimated since all of our practices were conducted in an air conditioned dome stadium.

Great way to start the 2007 season.

well, on local news at the half, there were multiple fans who had to be treated for the heat before the game started. It's blazing out there today!

Kick off by Dallas (gramatica) received in the end zone 2 yards deep, gets the ball just over the 20

who ever is saying barber isnt looking good obviously doesnt know football. No offense, but even though he got stuffed acouple times here and there, He shows Great determination and agility. He was getting met at the line..He did what He could.

JJ is looking good aswell. he's hitting the hole really fast and is showing better vision.

Overall both running-backs look good.

2nd and 5

3 wides - Sorgi backs up to a shotgun

Sorgi pressure over the middle caught by Gonzalez gets the 1st down.

1st and 5 -

Sorgi shotgun 3 WR set -

Sorgi fumbled the snap and sacked back 5 yards or so. Obomese on the sack
