I had a feeling we would lose this game... I did not expect us to get shut out and beat down though. Figured we'd lose by 7-10 points.

I was prepared for this L... I realize there will be fans calling for everyone to get cut/fired etc... I realize there will be people saying we are frauds. I realize there will be those saying the sky is falling.

BUT-- this is a non-conference L. It is simply not that big of a deal-- NOR does it undo the position this team has put itself in. The division is still theirs to lose-- and I think they needed a good butt-kicking to keep them humble, focused, and hungry as they head down the stretch.

Now-- I would strongly consider firing Linehan or stripping the play calling from him. This offense has spit the bit far too often this year-- and it's clear the players were frustrated today. So-- Scott is the scapegoat-- you make a change for the playoffs and get 2 weeks to tweak and revamp the offense, and the players get to move on quickly from this L and the fans appetite for someone's head to roll is satisfied.

Now is the time to move on from Linehan. If we don't pull the trigger now-- I fear this same kind of offensive performance will rear it's head on the road in the playoffs. Garrett needs to step in with some proactive changes to get this team's head and heart back where they need to be with 2 games left to play.

How did this first half look any different than any other this season?

It seems like all the historic negative records happened in the Garrett era...now first shut out in 15 years...when he loses its always historic I'll give him that.

This is what will happen on average when Dak is used as a pocket passer only. He is not good enough if you take away half(his strength) of his game. I don’t know who is at fault for that but it needs to change to have any kind of success.

Dak sucks when used that way. Dak is decent when he uses his legs. It doesn’t take a genius to figure it out.

Agreed. He needs both to be utilized. Sometimes I think he really is told not to move around and specifically focus on the pocket. It hurts. But he gotta make some better choices too.

The game wasn't on where I live but from what I saw of it online, they were sloppy. The offense cannot score and that is going to be why they aren't going anywhere if they make it into the playoffs. When their D has a bad game, or an average game, they'll lose because their offense cannot overcome it.

The Cowboys do that sort of thing very frequently. This time there was no big second half to fix things.
