Game Day *** Cowboys vs Colts post game thread***

If you don't have pride and an edge as an athlete, then you play like these clowns did today. Reading their press clippings and listening to PT Barnum (Jerry Jones) selling snake oil to everyone about how talented this collection of players is, diminishes the reality of how mediocre this team and it's coaches really are. This kind of game was coming, we all knew it, because all of the signs were there, even during the winning streak..with missed scoring opportunities in every game, repeated turnovers, poor execution, absolutely ridiculous and unimaginative play-calls, and penalties all over the field, some called, some not. The sad thing is that this kind of embarrassment for the fans will not influence the clown of an owner to make the necessary coaching changes that are so glaringly needed. We are stuck with the All-pro Clapper/spitter for the near future.....continue to delude the fans, Jones...that is your best skillset!

Now-- I would strongly consider firing Linehan or stripping the play calling from him. This offense has spit the bit far too often this year-- and it's clear the players were frustrated today. So-- Scott is the scapegoat-- you make a change for the playoffs and get 2 weeks to tweak and revamp the offense, and the players get to move on quickly from this L and the fans appetite for someone's head to roll is satisfied.

Now is the time to move on from Linehan. If we don't pull the trigger now-- I fear this same kind of offensive performance will rear it's head on the road in the playoffs. Garrett needs to step in with some proactive changes to get this team's head and heart back where they need to be with 2 games left to play.

Wrong! Garrett, Linehan and Dak needs to go! Richard has saved Marinelli’s old school D. He’s as bad as the other 3.
 
Would still take a world of things to happen to knock us out, but goes to show that we are still a pretender.
 
You know that play in the 1st half where 49 misses the TD by grasping air instead of the ball? Could that be a metaphor for the Cowboys and the NFC East title two weeks from now?
 
Jesse Holley is speaking truth on the postgame show. This team will not win in the playoffs. QB and Oline isn’t good enough.

Yes. Do this and see if the problems are still there. If so, reconsider major money for Dak until improvements happen. If not then move on. It should be a process not a quick everyone goes like some people love to trumpet.
 
Not to quote those horrendous announcers but you got to remember this is a Sunday to Sunday League I've seen weirder things happen, hopefully this will wake them up and bring them back down to earth? And yes you are right I don't have a lot of faith in that statement but I said it anyway
 
For those of you crapping on the defense , Indy was 8th in the NFL in scoring before today , right at 23 points a game..........................Wouldn't have mattered if the Dallas defense gave up a lousy field goal ; that's more than the offense put up................................

Still to early to get rid of Dak. But Garrett and Linehan yes. Then if Dak does not produce, do not sign him to a reup for the next contract.
 
Did Linehan and Garrett forget they have Amari Cooper.... DAK was dinking and daking to Zeke all day. But nothing to Coop. What gives
 
Okay now we know why we lost the game Fox postgame announcers said his first road game we played in three games yep that's the issue

To be fair, we could probably be down on just about every aspect of our team right now.
 
The Cowboys can't miss the playoffs because the Eagles and Commanders can not win out. Zero chance. Not happening. You're whiny babies.

But the Cowboys are a fraud team because they have a fraud QB. This guy is garbage. It'll be such a terrible day in the history of this franchise when that bum gets another contract.
