In that play, Witten was the FB on the right side. The Commanders overloaded that side. Witten went to block the middle LB and took him out. Obviously, the read for Romo was to the left. So whose the hot read there for Romo? Witten, from the backfield? Was there a WR to the right in the slot? If not, whose there to block the extra LB considering where Witten went?

EVERY team has audibles to adjust to the blitz. EVERY team.. and i've seen Romo call out hot routes at the line plenty of times before.

The "scheme" card is a lame excuse, man. That's all. You're trying to convince us that we don't have a single quick pass audible or hot route to call when we see blitz coming. Its bs.. nothing more.

Of course every offense has them. But the scheme still dictates what they are. If you want to believe Garrett is an offensive genius and this offensive scheme is amazing go for it. But it's not just Romo.
