Stephen said that if they draft a quarterback, he will have to sit on the bench for 3 seasons. Has a top 5 pick ever sat on the bench for 3 seasons in history? That is Stephen Jones subliminally letting us know not to get our hopes up.

Regardless, from what I have gathered...I will find it highly surprising a quarterback will be top 5 on anyone's draft board.

Their first stringers are also 'backups'... They are playing with 4 first year OL.. They have been hit pretty severely with injuries throughout the season...

I always root for my cowboys to win...I'm not going to waste my Sunday rooting for the Commanders. If the Cowboys lose, I won't be mad so it's a win win.

This is the perfect reason why you don't push your cap back and restructure contracts. Just a stupid front office.

Both stances make sense. Doesn't make one the better fan, etc.. We all want our team to win but in this season the higher pick is better for our future than this win today.

No kidding. Peterson was taller, came into the Combine 20 pounds heavier, and still ran a 4.3.

Dude was built like a safety and had blazing speed and covering skills. Hargreaves isn't near that.

I agree. No Romo, Dez, Collins, Lee, Oscan, Claiborne. We are starting a CB that's been on the PS all season.

Then don't see it, this is coming from many scouts.

This isn't some out of left field comment from Jones saying Claiborne is the next Sanders. Hargreaves is a serious prospect.
