Cowboys Vs Commanders ***Game Thread***

6 quarters of football this yr...so far this team is the picture of mediocrity

I hope we win tonight but man we just cant get out of our own way...

Can anyone tell if Watkins is covering well? Seems odd he hasn't been challenged?

Everybody needs to calm down. There are several very encouraging signs:
1) We're winning. At one point the Skins were driving at the end of the half, with the potential to tie up the game last week and our D held.
2) Vanderjagt is kicking well (knock on wood).
3) The O-line is protecting Drew very well. I mean very, very well.
4) The running game is better than it has been although it's still quite lacking.
5) We've had two sacks (twice as many as last week already) plus some serious other pressures.
6) Drew is throwing the ball well.
7) The Commanders didn't become disciplined in one week.

On edit: We also get the ball first.

We should run more, mix it up, and catch the stupid ball and everything would be alright. I guess nobody wants to get ahold of the 'rock.' Even on special teams.

Are you counting the dropped one in the end zone?? seemed to me tha ball was knocked out of his hands on a good play by the CB

Good play by the CB, but TO still should've had it.

This is what I feared.

We let a team up from the mat.....I have a feeling they're going to come out with both guns blazing....

Bledsoe beware.

Bledsoe is off, he's gonna get one of our WR's killed.

I agree, he's leading these guys into kill shots and exposing them with all the high throws

he is not having a good game, but then again not many of our guys are....McBriar, Ware and Spears have been the best so far tonight IMO

Well, Ware is having a good game.
Several players are having great games, they just keep getting overshadowed by the few that aren't. Maybe they can change it at the half. PLEASE!

I hope you are wrong!
The old saying is that rats are the first to jump off a sinking ship.

How long ago since you logged off of Extremeskins.com? :D

Agree too. Wonder if it's the back, can't throw with the same zip.

Well they're not trying to pressure Bledsoe from what I can tell. they're automatically dropping 7 back in coverage. If you only have 3-4 guys running patterns, Bledsoe's gonna have to try to fit the ball into some tight spaces.

The key to not being pressured.

The Blitz....

I don't think the Skins are blitzing the way they normally do. I'm not saying they aren't blitzing....they just aren't using the "jailbreak" blitz.

Take away a stupid KO return and we are winning 17-3.

I wish we were this mediocre more often.

seriously i have never seen so many dropped passes, it better not cost us

I think you fellas are being too hard on the receivers. They're all getting jacked when they drop the balls. Not saying they shouldn't have to hold on, but I don't see any open guys dropping passes.

Cowboys oline is playing well.

Maybe the Skins should stick Tom Cruise at QB. While we're at it, he should play CB, too.

lol

Our offensive line has looked impressive. At times, anyway.
