Game Day ***Cowboys vs Commanders Post Game Thread***

Watching the The Fan postgame show on YouTube, they reported that Gilmore told McCarthy in the locker room that he’d be good to go next week.
Ed Werder said he popped his shoulder out and had it popped back in, so he should be good to go

Dak played with poise and leadership today. Didn't panic or rush anything. Took what was available and went through his progressions well. His pocket presence was outstanding. The second CeeDee TD was masterful.

Didn't Stafford ask to be traded?
He did. Still, Detroit didn't fight to keep him.
Whether one leaves on one's own volition or is force out, it's human nature to want to stick it to your former love.
At least that's my thought behind this. Shrug.

Barely. Not gonna be enough.. Dowdle is back. Makes a difference. Still no Malik or Luepke. Luekpe was blocking a lot tonight..

Some people will say it was because Washington was missing d-linemen, but the Cowboys started two backup guards too so it evens out.

Pollard and Dowdle both looked like they hit the holes with more authority. Also congrats to TP for reaching 1000 yards, an under-the-radar achievement for sure.

I think the "call ups" get reset in the post season. Malik would be available if necessary. Better blocking. Pollard has low key shown flashes the last few weeks. Solid effort today. I'm predicting he has a break out game next week.

not back after 1 game against an awful D...that being said it is encouraging and maybe Bass can make an impact to help it as he seemed to today

The only thing which could rival it some this season is the Niners going one and done and not making it to the NFCCG.
This reminds me of ‘95 when the 49ers looked like the best in the league and the Packers knocked them out.
