I'm sure we could, but at what cost? We're already going into 2014 $31 million over the cap. Also, MJD's contract is up this year, so do you want to sacrifice draft picks for a guy that will likely only be here this year? I think that if we feel the need to add an RB, we should hit the FA market and grab someone like Turner.

I think the fact that his contract is up this year is a plus not a negative. If he can produce behind our line (which I think he will) he'll get swooped up to a big money deal by another team, leading to us getting a comp pick which'll likely be higher than the 5th/6th we'd pay this year for him . If he got signed as a featureback he'd produce more than enough for us to receive a 3rd round comp pick in the 2015 draft. Win-win.
