Because the league is all about parity now, games are super close. Consequently, games are decided by a few tick tack calls that refs make for one team and not the other. I don’t think it’s necessarily intentional. I don’t think there’s a conspiracy. But I don’t think the league really thought about it when they decided to become so parity-driven. Nothing feels legit anymore.
