I don't think it's that our defense is soft. They just don't have a lot of speed at the ends outside of Ware. With Ellis we could disguise that because he could make plays. We don't have a LB that can make plays like him on the side opposite of Ware and it makes us easier to block. Before Ellis was hurt our pass rush was fine.
