Game Day ***Cowboys vs Eagles post game thread***

the last 5 head coaches to miss the playoffs 3 straight seasons were all canned. garrett deserves the same faith. season should not have come down to this damn game.

And what would that change? Change for change's sake?

We deserved to win this. We outplayed the Eagles pretty much all the way around.

Except the offense couldn't score when we needed them too.

Here's the thing. Garrett should be fired immediately. Conservative all game long, would not let Orton throw it in to the end zone. Instead of throwing for 1st downs, he had check downs. No way fans come back if Garrett is still here.

You'll be back

Defense played well. Injuries weren't much of a factor. Garrett's team just came up small...again.

Can we commend the offensive line for keeping Orton upright for most of the game. I thought they did well in that aspect. Once again our problems came down to coaching. Playcalling killed us. Little Red tried to get cute a few too many times.

At least Jerruh is miserable.

Oh wait, I forgot about all that money to wipe his tears.

Orton played pretty well and overall there was little drop off from Romo. This is why I wasn't excited after beating a horrible Commanders team. We need changes.

This franchise is cursed. Only thing that can turn it around is an exorcism of Jerry Jones.

its true. if he let Wade hire his own OC, if he didn't fire Ryan after 1 season and hire grandpa Kiffin, if he didn't overrate our players and pay them more than their worth, etc. we would be in the playoffs more...so sad

I don't know, I'm not even mad to be honest, I guess I knew we really didn't have a chance in the playoffs if we won anyways. Though, I honestly thought we were going to win on that last drive. Sucks that the Eagles are moving on too, I'd rather it been the skins or giants (if not us) ...

There is no way Garrett can keep his job. The offense, scheme and play-calling lost this one. Play for FG's, die from them. The defense came to play and the offense did not for what, like the 14th time?

Betcha a donut the team is happy with JG this week. And another that he keeps his job.

This loss isn't on the defense. Kiffin did his job. It's on the offense. Bad offensive play calling. No runs up the middle to chew the clock. Going for it on 4 and 1 with 11 minutes left down by 1. A fumble here. Two interceptions here. This is all on the offense.
And the sad part about it is the offense was supposed to be our strongest unit.
