NFL teams always go for 2 after a penalty on the PAT. Nothing wrong there no matter the score.

I don't think it was rust. But I have a feeling that he was still feeling some pain or was affected in some way by the injury. I think it's safe to say that he's 100% now lol.

His bad game was due to a bad game. I never really saw a need to deep dive into it unless it continued
