This game is potentially very important.

If the Cowboys lose, they fall to 3-4 and the Giants improve to 6-2, making it very difficult to overtake them for the division crown.

Furthermore, by virtue of losses to the Bears and the Seahawks, the Cowboys haven't exactly positioned themselves well in the wildcard hunt.
