Just for clarification, the ball doesn't need to be behind the L-O-S. Just a body part is all that's required to be behind it. I learned this when Colt McCoy did the exact same thing earlier this season when UT played against Colorado. Colt made the exact same play as Tony and after the refs explained the rule, announcers said that it was the same for the NFL too.

AND Coughlin won the same challenge when Eli Manning did the same thing in the first Giants/Eagles game.
