Game Day ***Cowboys vs Giants post game thread***

Lol give me a break. Having a top three quarterback and receiver doesn't make this team better? That's basically what you're saying which is absurd. With those guys this team can have mental lapses because they'll be better than anyone else. There's a big margin for error.

No, I actually never said that. I just acknowledgde that there are other issues going on besides their absences.

And what do you mean "they'll be better than anyone else"?

Coach Jones said they are staying with Cassel

Jerry Jones, M.D., says Dez is quick healer and should be good to go next week.

Johnnie Walker Jones, the GM, said Romo will return against Tampa (not eligible until Miami).

I think that covers Jerry post game.

Meaning they're the best team in the league.

When you don't have your two superstars there is no room for error. When they're in there there is. Pretty simple.

Don't see what's so funny considering they were arguably the best last year with no pass rush and would've been in the NFC Championship if not screwed over by the most idiotic rule in sports.

This isn't 2014, teams rise and fall every year in this league due to the parity. This year's version is on a 4 game losing streak and hasn't played good football. There is zero basis to claim they're the best anything.

some teams are just immune to league parity. ie pats

No **** they're on a losing streak. Thanks Captain Obvious.

If you honestly think not having two of the best players in the world wouldn't have at least given us two if not three more wins then you don't know football. Probably undefeated considering they were in three of the four games.

You don't replace superstars. These guys are legitimate MVP candidates. We've seen how valuable they're. As bad as things have been they're likely 5-1 with just average quarterback play much less ELITE QB play.

Oh, right I forgot ELITE QBs raise the level of their teammates play! You must excuse me, I haven't tuned in to ESPN as often these days.

Nothing to worry about then! Carry on.

Two things come to mind, although I am aware that these aren't the main reason/s we lost the game.
1. Carr is on a good day a average NFL CB. The big contract he signed goes up there with some of the worst moves in 15 years.
2. We still need a good{not merely average} DT. One can clog as well as get pressure up the midd.

But Gregory and Hardy came back and DLaw got better, Tyrone Crawford got so many sacks they had to get calculators, guys what went wrong?

Agreed on both

Yeah they do. As does Romo does.

Romo makes his teammates better.

See Laurent Robinson. See Patrick Crayton. Even Ogeltree looked like an NFL reciever playing with Romo.

So acting like having Romo won't minimize some of these mistakes we've seen is ridiculous.

You think Romo is late on a throw deep down the middle and doesn't move the safety with his eyes? You think Romo forces the ball into double coverage when that's something he clearly eliminated from his game last year? You think Romo throws the ball to Williams on an anticipation route when he knows that isn't Williams strong suit? Give me a break.
