able to win with back up QBs yes Weeden should have never been signed. But ok game plan for him. but understand the coaches never accounted for the bad WR play, and that was evident that the coaches should have seen that. Did i have a problem with Weeden, no, i dont blame the players fully. To a point. Was Cassel the same, slighty better, but nothing that i would have said he really beat out Weeden. The same thing applied tho, game plan for the Qb not for a win. the win will come if the team can execute.

I feel after the bye, i have to lay more at Garretts feet. This game was the season.

I can remember being in my car driving home from work and hearing the news that Harris had signed with the Giants in free agency. I said to myself right then and there he would return one on us and he did.

Beasley's muffed punt didn't cost us the game, it cost us a chance to have an opportunity to tie. The picks and the return I put well ahead of the punt fumble.

With the QB play we have seen this year you really get to see how Romo is able to make C+ talent into B to B+ talent on those role players that fill the roster. With lesser QB's those players revert back to C+ and just aren't consistent enough game over game.

It's really a shame. We've been in every game since went Romo went down and I just feel we've given them all away. D played well today and it frustrates me because Eli did jack crap today but that booger faced dope gets a W dropped into his lap.

The Giants had no business being in that game if it wasn't for turnovers by Dallas. Talent wise it's a mis match and Dez didn't even finish that game.

Talent doesn't matter if you play sloppy, mistake-bound football. And we've seen plenty of that this year.

I never said other teams don't win with backup QBs. I said, if they're going to, they have to play better defense. Or take the ball away a few times in the four game span. Or not give up ST scores. Or, early in the string, run block better and curb the offensive penalties. These are things that get teams beat when they're playing with subpar QBs, and our team is not getting it done. But our fans want to excuse the poor team play and try to pretend it's the QB, because that means when Romo comes back, everything is fixed. But that's not what we're seeing right now. We keep playing like this, and we're going to lose close games to good teams when Romo's back, too. And people will blame the QB, probably. But the real problem is likely to be this same stuff that's getting us beat right now.

This is my concern. Missing players have nothing to do with dropped passes, dropped int's , players disappearing (crawford/lawrence), and a bevy of false starts. Discipline.

Yeah, maybe that happened in between your ears but not in real life. But since all of the Cassel sunshine-pumpers had selective memory about what happened when Weeden played, I'm not surprised they are doing same thing in hyping up Cassel.
