If the refs had called the blatant pushoff, we'd be saying how great Aaron Glenn is after intercepts that.

Hindsight is awesome

Yep...It's one of the perks of being a fan.

Now we're gonna start to blame the refs for trailing a 2-13 team?

You might want to apply as a coach for the Cowboys.

Doggedly leaving Newman to paly theslot while one of the league's best receivers (and biggest) picks on our tiny corner is what sucks. We weren't even in cover 2, but when the opposition brings a 3 wide set, I can't stand seeing Newman in the slot while the opposing OC salivates over having his #1 manned up against our 3.

:banghead:

yeah I know

"Actions speak louder than words"

take your own advice Newman!

geez...give him a break

he didnt give up the tds and he didnt miss the tackles on a 3rd and 10 give up run play

and it should have been a penalty on the punt return fumble...you have to give the guy room to catch the ball, the Lion guy right up on him

oh, and it was a bogus penalty on Newman that cost us 7pts and gave them 3

'Should' is irrelevant. The reality is that we are down 20-14 - at home - to the worst team in the league.

Bad calls no doubt, but think about how many stupid plays our guys have made.

Good call.

No excuse for having DETROIT in the game at all. Sure we had a TD taken away, but does that excuse the defense for letting Detroit go the rest of the way down the field for the FG?

We can't tackle Drummond at all. Once Detroit crosses midfield it's all over. They'll score somehow.

If we go on to lose this game, we'll be the laughingstock of the NFL as far as playoff teams.

Been watching the game (if you could call it that) with the Family.
My son has already got in trouble with his mother for obscene language (which she doesn't allow in the house) and my son in law broke a vibrating pillow.

Needless to say it's not a happy house right now.

On the other hand, the way we're playing , I think I would rather play @ Seatle than to lose to the gints @ home.

ps; is there any way we can opt out of the playoffs, you know, trade down to get better draft pick???:cool:

The score should be 21-6 Dallas. The refs have handed the Lions 17 points and taken a TD away from Dallas on bogus calls (and a non call).

Chill out

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....excuses....excuses.

Whah...no Greg Eillis

Whah....the refs suck

Whah....no pass rush

Whah....whah....whah......this team is flat and the coaching staff is downright awful!

I'd be shocked if we don't score a TD to open the half. Like I said earlier, this game screams of Houston and Tennessee.

If RW doesnt push off, Glenn INTs that and probably takes it back the other way.

If the refs call said blatant pushoff, we are up at the half

It's that simple. Some things are just on the refs.

I don't know...the way that the Giants are getting into the playoffs is pretty ridiculous.

blame Parcells for having NEwman line up on the 3rd best WR in the slot, 99.9% of the time team's go 3/4 wide

no other team is getting killed having their nickel corner, cover the slot receiver, idk why BP thinks it gives us this huge advantage that Newman is one of the 2 starting CBs able to do that?

Couldn't agree more. We could at least mix it up, especially in the RED ZONE!!!!!!!:bang2::bang2:

Are you telling me right now you wouldn't take Steven Jackson for Julius Jones straight up????????????????????????????????

it looks that way right now, but didn it look that way last yr or Jones' rookie yr? no it didnt

I just want to see what Jones does with better run blocking...we have some of the worst run blocking OL's in the league, hands down

Like I said, 2-13.

I didn't see the push off. It looked like Glenn was interfered with, but I never saw a replay that showed it.

It simply looked like Glenn lost the ball, and got turned around.
