I'm worried about the flats and middle of the field.

The LBers need a big day. Even with good pressure it won't matter if Stafford is getting rid of the ball in two seconds or less.

The eagles and skins posted up some good yardage and points with receiver screens and dumps across the middle.

Bad tackling didn't help Dallas either.

Luck needs to turn that corner today and start living up to the hype. No doubt that he is a good QB but he is stuck in a rut.

Poor offensive line, not a great running game and poor defense, hardly his fault.....if not for Luck, they wouldn't be in the playoffs and probably a 5 win team if that....

How do you people see us playing Johnson first and ten and obvious passing downs?

Nothing you can do but double him in his 2 games vs the Cowboys in 2011 and last season he's put up a staggering 22 catches for 425 yards and 3 TD's. He beats double and triple coverage with his ability to go up and high point the ball it's going to be a real challenge for a Cowboys secondary that continues to have coverage issues. Carr still has the burn marks from trying to defend Johnson last season. If the Cowboys focus too much of their attention on him Tate could end up having a big game. Johnson's ability to stretch the field will open up things underneath giving Reggie Bush some opportunities out in space.

Barry Church needs to introduce himself to Golden Tate!

We need to come out on fire, put down the gas peddle and not look back!

Offense, just keep running and passing, OL keep them off Romo and open holes!

Defense must eliminate the big play down the field, if you hurry Stafford he is prone to the pick.

Also, do not allow Reggie to kill you in space, have the check down covered because they will use it today.

DESTROY THEM!

I'm hoping the DL does a lot of trading. I'd like to see some loops. I don't think their right side can handle it. I'll be surprised if they don't attack that A gap with some stacked blitzes. They may get enough pressure with the front four and play more SPs without having to blitz.

One of the pregames said Detroits OL has trouble with stunts. They can't adjust to them.

Hopefully they can but the Cowboys have had issues defending big, physical receivers such as Johnson and Brandon Marshall who was on pace for a big game until he was injured in the first half of the Bears game in week 14. What scares me is Stafford takes a lot of chances floating balls up to Johnson knowing that if he can put the ball in the area Megatron can go up and get it or he'll draw a PI call. When Carr isn't getting burned he's getting called for PI's. If the game is tight entering the 4th quarter this could end in a real nail biter with Stafford taking some chances down the field to Johnson in hopes he can either make the play or draw the PI. The Cowboys need to put some pressure on Stafford and force him into some turnovers.

I have not heard yet who is starting at LB, hopefully Rolando is manning the middle and I would love for Hitchens to be able to go.

I agree, there are opportunities for our defense to collapse the pocket and get edge pressure especially on the right.

Hopefully Spencer, Selvie and Lawrence can take advantage of the the Lion OL and Crawford and crew can get pressure up the middle!

Yes, we need our secondary at its best and the constant blitz opens up big plays down the field which is not in our best interest in this match up.
