Why did we not run the ball and then call time out before we kicked the field goal??

Because Garrett and Linehan are completely clueless when it comes to clock management. Linehan and all his 3rd and short passes was maddening. Cowboys had to score TD on their last possession and grind out clock at same time. I have said all along the clock management and pass happy crap is going to be our only Achilles Heel, this game should never have been this close if we play our game by contolling TOP and smashing an undersized DL into smithereens. And GB played with 5 DBs almost entire game daring Cowboys to run on them.

All jokes aside, clock management and 3rd and short play calling. Dak played great, I'm happy about that, we can move forwards with him and not worry about the Dak vs Romo conversations. Even Dak's interception was a bad play call, 2nd and 1 with Zeke, just run it.

The offense didn't start slow. The offense killed itself on penalties. Dallas moved the ball. But stupid plays by Free and Butler scuttled two different drives where Dallas was moving for a score.
