1. People say "outcoached" here every game. It's like white noise at this point, and can be mostly ignored.
2. When you fall behind by 18 points in the second quarter you do have to abandon the script. We did and it got us back in the game.
3. There's the problem.
1. I don't say it every game.
2. Let me explain what I mean by outcoached. When the Packers moved Ty Montgomery out of the backfield, he was put up against Sean Lee. He exposed Lee because Lee can't cover him. How long did it take the Cowboys to adjust? We're behind 21-10, and we have first and 10 inside or near the red zone. We throw three passes and three incompletions. Was Zeke hurt? Was he winded (I don't know why, he sat out most of the last two games)? We settle for three rather than seven. We start out passing not running. We do this
ALL the time in the playoffs. Another example of being outcoached or lack of coaching, we get no pressure on Aaron Rodgers with a three-man front. We start to blitz with our corners and safeties and get to Rodgers, and then we back off. And with 3 and 20, we decide to send three against Rodgers?
That's what I'm talking about being outcoached, and I'm not the only one saying it. Commentators all over the television set are saying the same thing.
3. Yes, we have problems with the defense. Unfortunately, Jason Garrett has to have a complete team to win. We have the offense, we need the defense. Maybe we'll move forward with a complete team, despite the coaching.
