This started last year and it is just strange.


He looks like a completely different player. His rookie year how many times did he keep the chains moving and frustrate defenses with his legs. Starting last year even when he he has nothing but green grass and could easily run for a first down he is holding onto the ball. He looks completely indecisive and seems to be overthinking taking away his great athleticism. And yes Zeke might have been more feared but Dak made big time deep throws in Green Bay and Pittsburgh. Those games seems like 10 years ago.

I don't think he is a completely different player myself.

It is simply the case that he played behind the best offensive line in the modern era - three pro bowlers in their prime and Leary was massive for the running game - plus we didn't have many injuries to the line that season.

Last season and this game is basically what Prescott is without the aforementioned sensational o-line. The line has looked decent enough in the second half to be fair.
