This placekicking thing is gettin' a little old

I agree.

Dallas would be 11-3 right now with the only losses being against Washington 35-7, NY 17-10, and Oakland 16-10.

Instead, because of an inconsistant PK, we are 8-6 with losses to Denver, Seattle, and Washington because of missed FG's.

Okay fellas, I'm stuck in Iraq, with no tv to watch the game and a terribly slow internet connection that keeps going out.

Can anyone please give me a nice first-half recap?

Hate to disagree with ya BDC but it was tipped. I tivoed it and watched it a couple times. It most assuradley was tipped.
Maybe but it didn't look like it to me. If I'm wrong then we go to the playoffs. Deal?

gawd cundiff sux. aikman and baseball junior were yakking about how "peppers tipped the FG attempt". nobody ever laid a finger on it. the snap and hold were fine. billy is simply a LOSER. if anything, he's gotten worse since the day he first donned the uni. i just hate the guy now.

arent 32 yard field goals supposed to be almost automatic ??
Unless you kick for the Cowboys.

That ball was clearly tipped. No excuses for Cundiff, but anybody that says that ball wasn't tipped by Peppers needs their eyes examined.

No points ---end of discussion--- :laugh1:

If it was tipped.....Peppers tipped it from his knees......I would say the kick was much too low to begin with. He knuckled it.

Tipped or not...it was kicked too low. Cundiffs fault. Only way it wasn't is if Peppers was blowing up the line.

Tipped or not, 7 seconds left on the clock and 1 time out, you need to take one more shot at the end zone.

Bledsoe would have probably held on to the ball too long and or get sacked and end the quarter

Forget the Hoffman business. The simple fact is, most teams don't have a coach for kickers, and if you don't know how to get air under the ball on a field goal or miss them in crucial situations, you're not going to have a job in the league for long.

same result and we wouldn,t have to have a 3 page discussion on blocked or not---NO POINTS :banghead:

Why wont the Offense shake things up alittle,,, not open up the offense but possibly go no huddle a few plays.. us a TE ie Witten can catch the ball...

okay we got to come out on the 1st drive and score a TD to show that we are not gonna go down easily
