We have rules because a line has to be drawn somewhere. Wherever the line is drawn, people will go over it. If we moved the line further toward the "lighten up" area, some users would still go further. Why? Because they are used to it happening everywhere else and because so many people think they can win an argument/debate on the net by one-upping the other side.

I follow the rules. I just thinks it's funny there is a language filter and people still get in trouble for language. It's ridiculous.

Garrett's probably pleased as punch he has another scapegoat to take the fall for his terrible offense and terribly coached team. How many times can we change coordinators before we realize the HC is the problem? During Garrett's tenure, we've had Ryan, Kiffin and Marinelli coach the D, and Garrett, Callahan and Linehan run the offense. And that's just over 5 years!

I expect us to maybe fire a coach or two, probably the DC even though the offense stinks, have a good man in the mirror speech and then draft a very highly ranked safety or cornerback or safety/cornerback hybrid with our 1st pick.

I sure am ready for NICK HAYDEN's 4th season in a Cowboys uniform.

Uh, let's see. Bill Parcells, Gailey, Phillips, Garrett. What's the constant in that equation? JERRY

Then neither are the Cowboys. Romo and Witten will retire without a ring. Any coach that settles for a FG on the 20yd line on a 4th and 3 down by TWENTY points isn't going to do **** in the NFL. Especially one that isn't creative enough to get those points.

That bugs me more than anything. What a pathetic move. you have to go for it there. The FG was essentially waving the white flag. Garrett did the same in the NE game in virtually the same situation. Difference is at least we were only 2-2 then, today was season on the brink and he lays up.

There is no urgency for him. He know his job isn't on the line, so there's no real reason to take a risk. The guy standing on the opposite sideline earned the nickname Riverboat Ron because when he was on the verge of being fired he started to roll the dice. Now RR kept it pretty close to the vest today, but he was playing against a team that his greatly overmatched and he never stood a chance of losing.

Our lack of talent becomes painfully evident when playing a team like Carolina. They are better at secondary, LB, DL, TE, RB, ST.

Even our most talented position (OL) seems off this year.

I went through the position groups and had to agree with you on everything and certainly this version of Romo-- old banged up -- is also inferior to Cam Newton in his prime.

And their o-line, despite not having the notoriety, might be as good or better.

They were clearly on a whole different level than the Cowboys.

Yes and Garrett loves this situation going forward. Lose them all and it's well there was no Tony. Win a couple and it's oh wow look at Garrett willing this bad team to wins even when they were eliminated. It's 2010 all over again for Red - 5 years from now his water carriers here will remind us how he beat the Commanders in Dec. 2015 with Matt Cassel.

Their OL isn't good. It's that read option effect. Kind of like when everyone thought the WSH OL was the ish in 2012.

And I just disagree. I think if the Cowboys had've stuck with their game plan instead of getting pass happy the game would've been fairly close.

Seeing the Packers game, never been so envious of an organization and front office.

Packers went through a very ugly 25 year period from about 1969 to 1991 where they were even worse than the Cowboys have been over the past two decades.

The Cowboys are a great franchise and just like bounce back just like the Packers did.

To me a bounce back is consecutive years of success. We haven't managed that since 1995

Yeah, he probably wasn't fully healed.

And no, I don't think his career being over because of it is in play now. I think that's laughable.

He's also old and it's not like he's 6'5 with a rocket arm. His body is already failing him. Chances he plays at a superbowl caliber level ever again are slim. Need to find the next guy. Hope the FO is smart enough to see it.

Packers turned it around when they brought in Wolf as their GM and subsequently Thompson (a Wolf protege).

I <do> worry that the Cowboys won't fully turn-around until something occurs where Jerry isn't GM anymore...

IR Romo

Activate Kellen Moore

Start Kellen Moore

Cassel as backup.

Put Byron Jones back at Safety and start Deji Olatoye at CB if Mo is unable to play in the next game.

It's time to start evaluating what we have in some of our unknown quantities.

How many players have broken their collarbone 3 times and were Able to come back and play long term? Has that even happened? 3 collarbones? Tony needs to drink more Milk?

No, he needs to learn how to take a hit instead of spinning all the time because every now and then when he is too late with the spin, he gets caught and lands directly on his shoulder with the defenders weight coming down on top of him.

One of these days, I want to confront Jerry Jones and say the same line Viola Davis did at the end of The Help: "Ain't you tired?"

I think things may start to get really ugly inside Valley Ranch. There will be a scapegoat.
