Troy won a SB with numb nuts Switzer coaching. What's your point?

What point did you think you were making here?

I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt that you didn't just compare the 2014 Cowboys roster to the 1995 version.

So we won 12 games last year, the division title and were one terrible league rule on what constitutes a catch away from possibly the NFCC game with no coaching?

Our roster must be amazing.

No. But they lucked into an 1800 yard runner (who never approached that kind of production)in a contract year that allowed them to control the ball for a ridiculous amount of time each game that kept the defense off the field and QB mistakes to a bare minimum. It was a perfect storm because the evidence of this staffs work around that 12-4 season isn't very good.

Hoping to be half the man Tom Landry was.

Name me a single player in the history of sports who had to retire because of a broken clavicle.

And a bad back. How many things can a player worry about and keep playing at a high level?

So it was just lucky coaching? Just random happenstance?

Did he have a back issue this year?

You guys are moving the goalposts. I was responding to the notion that Romo's career "might be over now". What would the back issue have to do with that? He hasn't had one this year. He's only had a completely irrelevant to 2016 broken clavicle.

You know what I've learned posting on these boards for too many years? You'll say your dumbest things right after tough losses.

Unfortunately, JG isn't going anywhere. And the Cowboys aren't going anywhere either as long as he is the HC.

He sucks so bad he even prevented us from going anywhere for the 15 years before him.

No, but it was an outlier at this point.

What was his point? That in 2014 the Cowboys had bad coaching and still won 12 games, the division and for all rights should have gone to the NFCC game?

I mean, if you step away from your fandom for a moment and look at that statement, do you not see how completely asinine and illogical that is?

Apparently a very watered down/simplified game plan that didn't take much imagination. Garrett deserves credit that he didn't manage to screw that up but his offense has been called vanilla for years by players on other teams. And the less we saw of the defense on the fieldlast year well... The results spoke for themselves. I give this staff minimal credit for coaching because it's been awful every year since 2011 excepting last year that was a fluke.

So it was a very watered down simplistic coaching job.

We just overwhelmed teams with all our scary talent. The coaches just needed to get out of the way.
