Good practice for the Hurts Tush Push

What most people don’t notice with the Philly sneak is 1) The OL always gets so low and wins the push almost every time, and 2) The TE doesn’t usually push Hurts; he puts a hand on his shoulder and guides him in out out to the soft spot. The RB pushes him and sometimes the opposite OT folds back behind him and pushes when needed.

Today, Washington’s OT we’re holding their own and Philly ran a variation. Hurts took the snap and followed the TE down the line and got the first down off tackle. That play works because their OL is so powerful. It’s not going to be dominant for most teams.
