I think we will be able to run, but it might just take a committment to it. I think they have a good front 4, if healthy, but I'm not sure how deep it is. Run the ball and hopefully have extended drives and things will happen. Now on defense the Iggles, to my understanding, are mostly a short passing offense, can really limit their abilities is you tackle well. I think we've been tackling very well so far this year. Numbers I saw say that Wentz is good against the blitz, most likely because he's going hot to the open man due to the blitzing player and having him make a play. Seems like Wentz long accuracy is a little bad, with him leaving a lot of balls high. Mathews is a taller WR and he's been airmailing his long throws over him.

I think it should be an interesting game and will probably be decided by how OLine plays and how bad their RT situation is. Also remember their offense will have just had to play against a really tough defense to boot.

He had a great day because Lane Johnson finally started his suspension. It was evident with the rookie starting at RT. He was eaten up all day and I expect the same when they play us.
Wrong dude on my part......too many L names trying to get out of work. Definitely my bad....... apologies.

Let's get healthy. We need all our guns for the long run.

I'm hoping we get the Minny Philly game this weekend. I want to see how both teams fare.

Philly will throw the kitchen sink at us. We'll be favored, but this is no push over game.

It was because Lane JOhnson was out. But the point is the Skins had an edge rusher who could take advantage of Johnson being out. I am not sure we have that type of player who can exploit that.
I think Irving or Lawrence can and I think we have the offense to take advantage of Logan being out.

The way the skins rack up running yards against Philthy, We're going kill'm
Saying this early and often
Zeke should have a monster day
Philly does look vulnerable but historically they've been tough against us with respect to stopping the run. We have a hard time with fletcher cox. But I am feeling good about our chances.

The Philly coaches won't ever leave that right tackle out to dry again like they did this past weekend. They had over rated his abilities and left him in some one-on-one's. They know better than that now and will give him some help. It will still hurt the offense some because they'll be providing resources to blocking... but they'll plug that hole somewhat on the right side. It's not gonna be a freeway to Wentz again.

Hope you are right and they adjust and give him help every single down. That's just one less receiver to worry about, especially against our edge pressure, or lack there of.

Yes. Groin injury. The Eagles coach called it a "significant" groin injury.

He should miss the next few games, including the Dallas game in two weeks.
Yeayuh!!! Any injuries....I'll take it. No lane Johnson is big too. Hopefully the Vikings can give them some dirty lickens this weekend.

Wasn't that what everyone was saying about our last two opponents?

The fact that it's a divisional rival on a Sunday Night telecast is the ONLY reason i hesitate to say this game will be a 14+ point walkover for the Cowboys. But for whatever reason, these games usually are fairly tight regardless of how the teams match-up at that time.

And yet Vegas made them only 2 point dogs against Minny. That's a bizarrely low line.

Philly should get pressure on minnesota, both teams have problems on the offensive line. Joe Berger, remember him, he is going to line up across from fletcher cox for a good portion of the night.

Stephon diggs is still struggling with a groin injury and I think even boone is banged up.

Plus the bradford element of exciting the crowd. I actually think philly is in a good spot to upset minnesota this week.

which will setup an incredible night at the stadium.

Yep.

That's what is also being reported by the beat writers up here. He could be out a month. If he's definitely out for our game, you double Cox like the Skins did and the Eagles might really struggle to stop the run against us.
