After they made the ruling on the field an incomplete pass, they weren’t going to overturn it.

I don’t think it could have been challenged the other way if it had stayed a fumble like the live play. The original ruling is critical on that one.

I'll go on record here saying I got no issue with McCarthy not challenging there. It's a 50-50, and we wouldn't get the call our way there.

you can't challenge an incomplete pass ruling. it would have to be ruled a fumble than the raiders can challenge whether it was an incomplete pass.

Now we're asking our offense to go 95 yards. Yeah definitely should've at least tried to challenge, at worse we lose a first half timeout.
