Luepke has played well but it seems like he trips over his own feet in the open field. It is kind of weird.

I think he's just trying to go low to power through people but he does seem to go down when doing it.

Some would argue Ball was trending toward making the 53-man roster regardless. The fact he started at guard is encouraging but also suggests his spot is anything but safe. For Ball's sake, you have to hope the injury isn't serious.

For the Cowboys, though, this adds to the urgency to add another proven OL. Fans on social media have called for a Jason Peters reunion. The future Hall of Famer recently stated his intentions to play another season, though he hasn't taken an official visit with any teams yet.

The Cowboys like what they've seen from rookies Asim Richards and T.J. Bass, but fans have reservations about how'd they perform if called into regular season action. Edoga is the most experienced backup currently on the roster. That's an issue.


If Ball's injury is anything serious (something in the two-week range), Jerry Jones might have to spring into action again after trading for Trey Lance.

He’s under some pressure having to impress some team to sign him, but the competition he’s playing against tonight has helped him. He didn’t look near this good against better players.

I agree, but if you're running a lot of 2TE sets as MM claims, you can't get away with just 3. Maybe slip McKeon through waivers and bring him back.
