This game will be the most wasted preseason game in Cowboys history as we throw away a whole game's worth of snaps to a guy we have already made the decision to cut. This is one of those unique advantages Jerry brings since he can't be fired.

Every snap, even in the preseason, is highly valuable. To waste them on Grier after informing him he will no longer be with the team is ridiculous.

These should be going to Rush, or are we so scared of injuries that even the back up is bubble-wrapped?

He probably caught a flight to Arlington this morning.
Expect him to be at AT&T in sideline gear ...Cowboys sweats and a baseball cap.

Why not, our other QB's are the same way.
Dak will not have any snaps until the regular season. Grier looks awful. Rush was ok. So Lance can't be any worse.

I'm going to petition Jerry Jones to let me start a preseason game in 2024. If they are so meaningless and we already have the precedent being set of guys getting the snaps who are not going to be in our future then why not let guys out of the stands take snaps? Make it into the ultimate fantasy football camp and charge money for it.
