Cowboys vs Rams August 17th in Hawaii

How? It's the same if they played in Miami.
It’s a very long trip to Hawaii
It’s more party than work
We did harm last year not letting starters get enough work together
We need starters to get many more reps together this camp and that’s basically a vacation trip

**** - heard this morning that Ticketmaster selling game tickets for $600 !

And people thought I was kidding when I said...500.00. Hell...looks like they have gone up. The greed of the NFL is disgusting.

It’s a five hour flight, relax.

Worst seats are $89 and up. As much of a fan as I am, I'm a bigger fan of me and my money. No way I would fork over hundreds for a meaningless pre-season game.
Just wait it out, prices will drop on secondary market as we get closer to game day.

Lol, why are folks tripping about the game. As far as I’m concerned this is a great excuse to go over there, see a game (however meaningless it is) and hangout in Lanikai.

Exactly, especially for the local Cowboys fans and fans of the sport in general. For the players it's all business. Fight the day before, team meetings, team dinner and curfew at 11:00. Play game next day then board a chartered fight home right after. They will be in their apartments in time to catch highlights of the Sunday night game (if there is one). Film room the next morning.

There are rumblings of an open practice being held here, so perhaps the stay might be a little longer than. Your average road trip

Possibly, if they can make a buck and charter the plane early in the morning. I just don't see el cheapo Stephen wanting to pony up staying an extra day by arriving early for a preseason game. Between players, coaches, medical staff, PR staff, film staff, security etc. most teams travel close to 150 people. That's a lot of room and meals to be provided for despite a group discount. Maybe Jerry could apply his AARP discount as well?

It's no longer than going to Miami, they're in Cali and the starters aren't playing but 1 or 2 series . It's not like they're leaving the country.

For the Rams you won't see Goff, Gurley, or Donald playing even 1 series. It's a strategy that worked for the Rams last season, and Garrett should do the same with Cowboys starters. That means you pay some big bucks for this game to watch backups or players that won't even make a roster.
