WEAKEST post ever...you could at least answer the question or should I just give you a GAME-SET-MATCH right now?

I'm sure there are weaker posts, like Bach's or yours.

Post Jimmy Johnson, he won a SB with Switzer as a coach. Then came the disintegration for five years, which I admitted too, and he hired a real coach in Parcells, who supposedly upgraded the talent fantastically, but still didn't win a single playoff game. Most people in the NFL thought it was a good move, except the anti-JJ contingent. Things slowly started getting better after rebuilding.

Then he hired Wade who took him to the best record in the franchise at 13-3, and lost in the first round of the playoffs. No way do you fire a coach after a 13-3 season. Then we had a solid draft according to most pro-scouts and we were graded as a legitimate SB contender.

Is that enough? Go away anti-JJ trolls.

The Jerry jocksuckers are still here. Congrats.

The Jerry bashes are still here. Even in threads that have nothing to do with Jerry, you bash him.

You're agenda is sickening.

We would have won one or two more too, if free agency didn't hurt the team as much as it did.

Your post above mine had to do with Jerry. Did you just forget you wrote that?

And as for Switzer winning a Super Bowl, he did take over the most dominant team of the last 2 decades. Anyone could've stood on the sidelines with the team Jimmy left behind and won a Super Bowl. The fact he only won one and struggled doing it at that says a lot. So does the fact that he went 6-10 just two years later.

Switzer was a joke as an NFL HC. Gailey was an OC with the HC title. Campo was a joke that finally culminated in our 5-11 records three straight years.

BP was the only quality coach since Jimmy that Jerry hired. He took that crappy 5-11 team and had three winnings seasons in 4 years. But he didn't do all we had hoped, so Jerry quickly reverted back to someone like Wade, in the mold of the previous idiots Jerry hired after Jimmy and before BP.

Jerry is our biggest problem.

You people who think that STILL exist?? wow! 5 years of disintegration?! LMAO!!! You must not of been alive when our franchise was actually performing up to true Dallas Cowboys standards. I guess some fans have just become so immune to being losers that their standards have just about bottomed out. Congrats!!

Yeah Wade took the team that mostly Parcells built and succeeded with it until it took WADE's image. The team needed a change from Parcells that cannot be denied...they played decent for 3/4 of the season and totally CHOKED just like all of Wade Phillips teams do at the end. Now the team is truly taken on Wade's image in full. I guess the school of having players "Fire themselves up" is working out great.. LMAO!!

Well at least I was not disappointed on the prediction thread early in the weak I said we would get our arse kicked by the Rams because the ST and defense was not good enough for us to win the Brad at the helm as QB

So we played how I expected

Hey Wade maybe you should have came out with your arse hanging out again to motivate the players

Jerry is our biggest problem.

He is? So all the talent he's helped assemble means he sucks because they can't live up to said talent?

Last I checked Jerry doesn't tackle. He doesn't block. He doesn't forget to cover people.

Jerry isn't the problem. The problem is no matter how much talent he assembles on this team it simply can't win if they can't play ball, and right now they can't play ball at the level they're supposed to.

This was absolutely a pathetic game. One of the worst I can remember seeing in a while. Brad Johnson was not good but I can't really put as much of this on Brad as I can the defense that was just absolutely HORRIBLE in every fashion. They couldn't cover, they couldn't tackle, they couldn't get pressure on an awful offense with an awful O-Line, they couldn't even begin to slow down the run, let alone think about stopping it, they were just absolutely horrific.

As much as I hate to believe it I'm at the point now that I just don't think this defense, even with all the talent that is on it, can ever get the job done. They can't step it up when they're supposed to, they can't do anything even remotely right.

It might be time for some wholesale changes on that side of the ball with only guys like Ware, Newman, and Ratliff and Hamlin (Right now mostly cause of the deal he was given) having jobs that are safe.

Umm...yeah. Because the 2nd half thread was closed, so I continued the conversation in the most appropriate thread that remained open. Use your head.

You're STILL NOT GETTING IT. Who hired Jimmy? What is the GM's position with respect to hiring a head coach? Who made the Walker trade? Who picked the players in the Walker trade? Just Jimmy? But, I thought that was the GM's title? Who made the Haley trade? You are still clueless.

You can't blame the failures on one person, and not give him credit on the sucesses if you say it all starts at the top. Are you really this blind to your hypocrisy?

Holy smokes. First graders can understand this.

Go back and read your own question and then see if I answered it or not instead of focusing on some five years of disintegration that I already agreed with and that JJ learned his mistakes from, unlike the supposed 10+ years of mediocrity that you claimed.

If you're still defending Jerry after the last dozen years, then that's all that needs to be said. homer.

No. That was a general statement on your behavior. I bet if we search your posts, there will be an JJ bashing in the majority of them.

Umm...I'm not defending Jerry for his record "after twelve years". I'm exemplifying your hypocrisy after your incessant whining about him in the majority of your threads.

Like I said, you would think JJ slept with your girlfriend or owned you in some business deal. It really is quite sad.

Hmm ok so when were we NOT mediocre since winning the last super bowl with the team Jimmy built?

We haven't won a playoff game in 13 years bubba. T-H-I-R-T-E-E-N YEARS!! That's way BELOW mediocre to me. Mediocre would be actually winning a playoff game or two every other year. "Detroit Lions Pathetic" is not winning a playoff game for that long. We've sucked a lot longer than 5 years. Again, our standards are just different. Mine are obviously higher than yours. It's sad when we have Cowboys fans beginning to have the mentality of Bengals fans....sad indeed....

Oh and don't bother saying we weren't "mediocre" last year. We ended up VERY mediocre. Only mediocre teams finish seasons like we did last year. GAME OVER...
