They are not a great defense. They feast on bad teams and get pushed around against good teams.

These two teams lead the league in penalties and tonight just reinforces it. The ’Hawks and Cowboys have 217 yards in penalties. The single game high in the NFL this season is 224 yards and there’s still 13 min left.

True but it just felt like the right time to take the points. Bland had just made a big play let's make sure we get some points so it was actually worthwhile. Defense was feeling juiced up. The unconverted 4th down took the air out of the defense.
