Why not go for 2?

Too early to chase points. Things can happen that make you need 4 instead of 3 at the end. Plus, that was a grueling drive. Missing would be demoralizing. At some point the defense has to play or we lose anyway. We are scoring against great resistance. Seattle is scoring with almost no resistance.
