I can't be as negative as everyone else is, but I know this much. I'm laying some money on the Cowboys ML in hopes they do upset the Hawks.

Dang son, you have a knack for remembering your dreams in detail!

1) Despite their banged up 2ndary, their Dline hits Romo for 3sacks, 2FF and 2INTs.

2) After falling behind 13-0, Dallas abandons the run after just 7carries.

3) Flozell Adams is called for no less than 5 false starts.

4) Alexander rumbles for just 41yds, but Hassellbeck has a record setting 555yd, passing game.

5) Terrell Owens bites Bill Parcells' ear.

Final Score: Dallas-14 Seahacks: 13

  1. JJ 14 rushes for 13 yards
  2. Romo 12 of 31 for 121 yards zero TDs and sacked 6 times with another four fumble performance.
  3. TO 2 caches for 23 yards and 3 drops
  4. Witten 3 catches for 45 yards
  5. Glenn 1 catch for 53 yards, tackled at the 3 yard line followed by (3) failed attempts at rushing a TD only to kick a field goal
  6. Defense: zero sacks, zero INTs, give up 4 TDs passing and 2 rushing TDs and 466 yards total offense
  7. 3 for 3 on field goals
  8. Seahawks 44 Cowboys 9

Yeah, that about sums it up. :D

Bad defense continues and the struggling Seahawks look unbeatable. Alexander has 150 total yards 2 TD's, Hasselback has 3 TD passes (one to Alexander, one to Mack Strong and another to whoever is the backup RB). JJ and Barber combine for 43 yards rushing and Parcell's states that trailing by a score of 7-0 was prohibitive to running the ball.

Seattle 31-21.

It would make sense for us to run the ball, or try to run the ball to keep it away from our D. I htink both teams score whenever they want to, and the last team with the ball wins.

Bloodbath + mass suicides for Cowboy fans.

48 - 17 Seattle.

This team has turned out to be gutless on defense and incapable of stepping up to a challenge.

My gut begs me to reverse this, but my brain has been processing too many Defensive meltdowns lately. Offensive game for the ages, 45-44, with our Defense not being able to stop a Seahawks touchdown in the final seconds of the game.

Unless we find a way to plug some holes then you are right IMO. That's assuming we don't turn the ball over too much.

Seriously, though. I'm going to go out on a limb.

Cowboys 31
Seahawks 21

Reasons.

1. Seahawks are banged up in the secondary. That has to work in Cowboys favor.

2. If this coaching staff has any ounce of integrity and ability, they will find a way to exploit the Seahawks secondary.

3. Julius Jones seems to have his best games against the Seahawks.

4. Shaun Alexander is not a between-the-tackle runner and the Cowboys have speed to neutralize him when he bounces outside.

5. This is the playoffs, which means that our defensive staff simply has to find a way to stop team's from exploiting our secondary, right? :(

6. Romo will find a way to hit our receivers in the open field.

7. Remember, this defense last year shut down the Seahawks until the final drive. Whatever we did then, we'll do now.

8. We'll find a way to move DeMarcus Ware around so he won't be facing all-world OL Walter Jones every play.

9. We play better on the road.

10. TO lives for these games. And he said he owned us a win. This is the game he breaks out.

Dallas 23, Seattle 21

Grammatica misses an early PAT, gving us all heart failure, and wins it on a late FG due to a Pat Watkins INT.

Martin slips during the ensuing celebration and Vanderjagt is resigned.

Just kidding on that last part. Actually, probably all of it.
