Game Day Cowboys vs Seahawks Preseason Game

Wasn’t it you who disappeared a year ago after the cowboys were one and done against GB? Maybe you should take your own advice again.
He starts the preseason thread and goes to cabo with his idol Dak when the team gets eliminated. Returns around draft time like nobody notices every season

I saw many good things from our non-starters, as to be expected. I also saw many things that can be fixed, which is the real purpose of this exercise. I care nothing about winning in the preseason. I just want the players to show what they can do and can't do. In review I start with the penalties. Minimizing the penalties is a point of interest, especially the repeated ones.

You are wrong. The OL in the first half was not good. Schotty said this at halftime. They were playing too high
I don't understand how people seem to judge backs based on how many yards they get. If the blocking isn't there, nobody is going to look good. And the backs definitely had more to work with later in the game.

The Blue hatred is absolutely ridiculous. The Blue haters hate on Blue while they praise Mafah even though Mafah averaged less per run than Blue did. What's worse is the haters don't understand why both Blue and Mafah struggled to run the ball well the whole 1st Half? It's because the Oline stunk it up badly and played too high, meaning the opposing D-line was consistently able to stay low and plug up any potential running lanes. The Oline had no push and got dominated, opposed to the 3rd string Oline who performed way much better the whole 2nd Half, hence why both Davis and Abanikanda had much better averages and overall rushing yards compared to Blue and Mafah.

The first drive of the game Seattle drove down for a TD took up half first qtr with our top rookies drafted.

1st half rushing offense was almost non existent. We still haven’t solidified a backup RB.

Penalties still a problem .

Best takeaways was Brown as he probably made the team with two receiving TD’s including one-hand catch and I was actually impressed with Howell and Milton.
