Just guessing, but I think it'll be San Fran vs Seattle to open the new season. The NfL likes to save the Cowboys for their Annual Sunday Night Showdown vs the Giants for some reason.

If tonight's game would have been a nail biter then I could see Denver at Seattle but I think it'll be SF or Dallas.

SF and SEA are the NFL babies right now. I don't see them putting them up against each other in week 1 only to have one of them start out with a loss. It will be either us or the Giants(the other Manning) IMO.

Not on week 1. I dislike not having the cowboys play on Sunday in week 1. I prefer 425 or 830 games overall.

it will be SF at SEA as the opening Thursday night game...that was pretty much a given after the championship game and the richard sherman stuff and all that. tonight just determined whether it would be Thursday night or Sunday night.

plus the NFL seems to schedule a lot of division games opening weekend so yeah the idea that we could face Philly isn't too far fetched
