That was an awful quick pass.

It's better that BP decides on Cortez before the regular season starts. There should be another alternative or two available in about a week.

I don't think so, but you may be right. The couldn't even be sure we would get the ball snapped in time so why try to test him on a hurry up play like that?

It was stupid, because Glenn got the first down with 11 sec left. Run to the line and spike the ball. They screwed up. They should have spiked the ball. Would have had 3 sec on the clock and Cortez, would not have had to rush the kick. They do that in the regular season in the same situation and this could get real ugly.

It was 4th down not 1st down, spiking the ball would have been a turnover

If that's the case then I'm ok with it but from what the official site said, he got the first.

EDIT: I just went back to the site and they corrected it. So it was the right thing not spiking it. But the info that was first up there really had me hot.

Oh well, we got the lead and looked pretty good on the last two drives. Though I still don't know why we didn't go to the EZ on that pass to Glenn at the end.

Yeah I agree. Actually the last 2 plays sucked. The hand off to JJ was a horrible call unless you're like on your 5 or 6 yard-line.

And the next play which was a WR screen, horrible horrible. I don't blame Cortez for the miss, but he has to make that one.
