I know - it is scaring me?

* do I cheer for a win which helps the clapper
* do I NOT get upset if they lose since it could hurt the clapper


I AM GOING WITH POSITIVE!!!!

I have been dealing with that issue since JG took over !
If they win exciting game and then I see JG, or jerry and his boy all happy, it lets the air out of my joy.

To deal with losing a lot. or in big games, a few years ago I decided to just not expect wins or good seasons, then if it happens,
I can still enjoy it, but if it doesnt , I am not bummed out.

Saturdays are reserved for college football. The NFL won't go there.

NFL has games on Saturday's once their regular season is over.

good point, but I dont watch college football, maybe 2-3 games a season.

many NFL fans dont follow college football.
but I can see where that would make them even more against putting games on sat nite.

The thing is that sat nite is a nite fans could stay up late without having to get up early and go to work, but that is one nite
they will never air a nfl game lol.
They could even run a repeat of the best game of the previous week, which many would not have seen, or rerun the
previous game for that regions team.
like here in dfw area we would get a repeat of the dallas game from previous week..

I read the under is the one to take, I think the odds favor that.

grrrrr , is that because it runs so late ?

Games on sun nite, mon or thur should start at 6 pm central, but the tv networks make more money , or they think they do
starting @ 7 pm cst. 8 est.
And tv networks are greedy, if they started at 1 hour earlier, they would still have the 1st 2 prime time slots with the high ratings.

it would just trade the last prime time spot for the early pre primetime slot.
I think it would actually increase the # of viewers if they start games 1 hour earlier.

I also think they should have saturday nite games instead of thur nite, but again thur nite prime time makes more cash,
even though sat nite makes more sense.

Yes...start at 7pm est...over by 10 and don't look like a hound dog the next day.....i enjoyed when I lived in central time
