Ask yourself why Cam is unsigned. He's not ready to accept a back up role. If he was, he'd be on another team already.

This, plus he would probably be expensive AND a distraction. Cam should not be an option here with Dak the established QB unless he accepted the vet minimum and could adopt the mindset of a backup. Neither of those things are true.
