***Cowboys Vs Vikings*** Game Thread

Romo with a handoff to Thompson, Thompson gets hit and then continues down for 8 with a horse collar tackle. Then Thompson goes off right tackle for the 1st.

Romo back with a handoff to Thompson up the middle for 2 and gets stacked up. Vanderjagt on the sideline practicing.

Ah ok

DallasCowboys.com says it's Waters.

Bottom Line they both suck... I fell sorry for Brad Sham and the people who have to endure listening to the Cowboys on the radio.

Romo back jukes out an oncoming defender, slings it deep to a receiver and it's a jump ball in the end zone, and the defender wins that jump ball with an interception. Plus there was a personal foul by an OLINEMan.

Anyone else wanna call Romo our starter... He left at least 10 points on the field tonight

i wanna see vandermiss get another chance and hit it

What happens if he gets another chance and misses it? What will that prove? Can Dallas cut Vanderjagt, and avoid the big salary?

this is freaking ridiculous, we're accomplishing crap

someone we dont want hurt will get hurt

should have gone for the 2 when we had the momentum

and hopefully Avazzano, this will be your last radio broadcast....

The preseason insn't fun anymore. Someone please end this comedy of errors. T.O. is the least of our worries right now. We can't block anything.

Romo on the sideline with his head in his hands looking defeated... Vikings with the ball on the 20. Bledsoe leaving the field in plain clothes, Vikings back to pass flushed out and runs out of bounds for a sack...Coleman granted the sack.

Judas Priest, how many times are we going to leave the RBs wide open over the middle/in the flat?

..our Achilles Heel all year.

Ellis is not going to be able to cover RB's and will wear down over the year trying to and Ware is not a cover LBer, either.

I think Carpenter is going to be starting on the outside before 3-4 games goes by as we get exposed with RB's catching passes all day and extending drives and TOP.

Minnesota is the first team that has the offensive players that can take advantage of the defense and it's weaknesses at LBer.

I'm also curious if Burnett doesn't get some time at outside LBer, too as time goes on.

We are going to have to get speed on the outside that can blitz or cover.

Ellis is strictly a passrush player.

He can be used inside the opponents 30 and inside our our 20 when the other team is in our Redzone where we want more beef and a pressure LBer.

But at mid-field, I think he's a liability as a good offensive team is going to attack both him and Ware when they open up their offense and do play action.

We'll see.

But I think it's the weakest part of our defense and it's still not sound as long as Ellis is the starting LBer opposite Ware.

I thought the whole thing about getting Carpenter was to have a versatile LBer that could both rush and pass cover and stop the run..? Somebody to compliment Ware.

Ellis doesn't do that.

Hmmm...
