we have nothing in vaughn. How much does he get to 3 and out before Showers gets a chance? Or is Vaughn one of the guys 'the coaches like' and gets an automatic free job?

I don't think so. Right now, I'd say we go with two QBs and put both Vaughan and Showers on the PS. Last year, he played well enough in the preseason for Dallas to want to not risk him to waivers.
