He's already likely better than Vaughn. So just make him the 3rd QB.

We don't need 3rd QB on the 53. Rather keep that spot for another position.

Yeah, I agree. Hate it for these guys, because they put in so much work. NFL is a tough room to get into, however.

I realize he has not flashed a thing but you cannot judge that position watching TV in a preseason game and most of us never see a practice. No one gets in the film room or a QB session.

Still I don't think he has 'it'.

I really feel bad for the kid, because he seems to care. But it just doesn't seem like he is good enough at this point.

No. Have no idea what they will do with him. Probably best to cut him and let him catch on with someone else and stash Showers on the PS. He can dress for games as the emergency QB.

If they do against Atlanta in Game 1, then I will be concerned. Until then, I won't worry about it. Teams aren't prepped for this offense in the preseason.
