Not sure I understand that one. I thought he could be depth at Osa's position. I know we have Solomon, but we're not that deep behind our big three.

This Defense was so bad… anyone who was unable to break into starting lineup or get significant play time (meaning they are even worse than our starters) are probably not worth fretting over. Need to make room for players.

Interesting. I thought he showed something good in his limited time here and like @gimmesix I thought he was Osa's backup and could potentially play DE in a 3-4.

This is probably true, but our backups the last few years haven't exactly been higher quality than Winfrey.

Winfrey injured his back Aug 31, 5 days after cutdowns and was placed on IR on Sept 8th.
His return window was opened in October and he was activated in November. He didn't play except for the game Thomas was injured because we traded for Williams so he remained inactive.
He wasn't a stash.
Doesn't mean they don't feel the injury has potential to be chronic.

There was never any reason to activate Mafah!
